  I have attended this church 4 or 5 times over the last 2 months (I attend church every Sunday but am still looking for a home church) and they incecently talk about their need for more money for their new building, yet there are plenty of empty seats at every service I've been to. I do prefer more traditional music, but am not opposed to live music on a screen, however it is clear that the songs are not for anyone but the musicians jumping around on stage. All the audience can do is clap, as the screen is not always accurate and the songs seem to be pretty obscure; it would be nice to be able to make a joyful noise too. I grew up in a hymm church and I listen to Christian radio all day and I am lucky if I recognize 1 of the 4 or 5 songs that are played. The preaching is good, maybe very good at times, but they seem to have a different Pastor speaking every Sunday as if they are trying to ensure every group is represented behind the pulpit. One pastor delivering 90 percent of the messages seems more like a shepard.

  I can feel the presence of God in this church. Strong anointing. What can you ask more for. The pastor and wife are outstanding and role models for how Jesus followers should be. Music is modern, full of dynamic and they create a good atmosphere to worship. I also noticed a balanced mix between different races and different cultures which is great. Love this church!

  I love River Of Life Church! Pastor Chris and The First Lady is amazing.. God truly is using both of them to do his work..You couldn't ask for a better pastor.. When I was sick and needed prayer and words of encouragement Pastor Chris and his wife called and check up on me.. Also, River of Life members checked up on you, prayed with me, cook, sent beautiful flowers, etc.. I can truly say River Of Life showed me what love and compassion is.. I have never had a church to treat me with so much love and care.. River of Life is a blessing to many and our community.. I Love Pastor Chris, First Lady and the church members of River of life... Lord, please continue to bless River of Life and your people..

  I grew up in a Roman Catholic household. I was saved and baptized in a Baptist church. I have been through 2 church break ups. And I thank God that He sent River of Life Church outreach team to come and fetch me and bring me back into His arms. Pastor Chris, Pastor Miriam and our associated Pastors preach the true living word of God. So if you are not saved or are saved and are looking for a church home, come visit River of Life Church. I tell people River of Life Church is ‘The Place to Be.” Why, because River of Life Church is one step closer to Heaven. I Love my church home River of Life because at River of Life there is no rigmarole goings on.

  ROLC is the epitome of a bully church. They lure you in under the false impression that they are non-judgmental and that they allow the Holy Spirit to convict your heart. They smile and are friendly until they hook you in. Their goal is to get you to like them, then they start on you. Their men's group uses video series like John Bevere to push their members out to where they believe they should be. It is one of their control mechanisms. They get you to watch the video then they demand and bully to get you reveal your personal stuff and issues to them. Once you do that, they use your issues against you to attempt to control you. Nothing is uplifting, because it is all designed to tell you that you aren't doing enough and that you aren't living up to anything.
  
  They do not attempt to get to know you or find out where you are or have been spiritually. They get an initial quick impression and go entirely off of that. When they pray for you, it is all negative stuff. They try to tell you that you are all bad and you must speak up about yourself. Their whole goal is to find out about your "compromises".
  
  My friend went on their men's retreat to Asheville. After a 7-8 hour bus ride, he had to call his wife to drive 8 hours to come pick him up.
  
  I attended faithfully every week and sometimes twice and gave my tithe/offering every time I attended. They never considered any of that at all. They didn't care. They had an agenda where I was concerned and they attempted to carry it out come hell or high water. They DO NOT care about people.
